Presidente Prudente, SP – Desde as primeiras horas dessa sexta-feira, aproximadamente 700 trabalhadores rurais do setor de corte de cana da usina Alvorada do Oeste, de Santo Anastácio, região do Pontal do Paranapanema, promovem manifesto em frente à entrada principal da indústria de açúcar e álcool, sediada no Km 22 da rodovia SPV 29. Outros 1,5 mil cortadores de cana estão com suas atividades suspensas nas áreas de plantio.
Durante toda a semana os trabalhadores promoveram seguidos manifestos por conta do descumprimento de obrigações trabalhistas por parte da usina. Mesmo com os alertas, tanto nos canaviais, quanto no escritório da empresa instalado na zona urbana de Santo Anastácio, a usina não regularizou suas obrigações pendentes, o que motivou os trabalhadores instituírem o início da greve na manhã de hoje.
Os cortadores de cana, que contam com o apoio da Federação dos Empregados Rurais Assalariados do Estado de São Paulo (Feraesp/CUT), através do sindicalista Rubens Germano, apresentaram a Pauta Reivindicatória, que consiste nos seguintes itens: recebimento de cesta básica (em atraso de dois meses); divulgação diária do preço da tonelada da cana cortada; adaptação do tamanho do compasso para medição da cana; e o adiantamento de salário (conhecido por “vale”). Dos itens, apenas o último foi parcialmente cumprido, pois nem todos tiveram acesso ao dinheiro.
Os trabalhadores mobilizados na frente da usina Alvorada do Oeste já escolheram seus representantes para a comissão de negociação, no entanto, até o momento, a indústria sucro-alcooleira não apresentou nenhuma proposta ou sequer enviou representantes para negociar com os grevistas.Para o diretor da Feraesp, Rubens Germano, a greve iniciada hoje não tem previsão para término. “O movimento dos companheiros é justo e temos a certeza de que não irão mais aceitar promessas por parte da usina.
